To be part of the new S&M website...

we want to get the people of Britian involved in the campaign.

You can answer the question? or show us why it is great through images?

Enjoy creating wild photography.

An old classic...

One of the feel good tunes from a band of the 90s.

Old tunes never die out, what a great British band - the Coral.

Pointer Loafers

We seen this on the shelves of Driver last week and they are hot property!

A pair of the navy have been purchased and a pair of the tanned are next in order.

Pointer Angus Loafer - now at Schuh online

Paul Smith Fishtail Parka

This is Paul Smiths version of the Mod Fishtail Parka and it's the smartest one we've seen so far.

It seems to be pretty true to the original style with the double lined khaki, draw cords on the waist and buttons on the sleeves.

Similarly, Pretty Green and even Adidas are trying to get their own ones out but the prices are steep and the looks aren't great.

Save your money and wait for the S&M Parka people, you won't be disappointed.

Coming out later this year.

Summer Short Shorts time.

The summer seems to have found it's way back, it's sunny again!

At S&M we love to rock a good pair of these... (including the first pair of Sergio's)

The Fila Settanta Collection - supported by Bjorn Borg, the tennis great and re-modelled by Danny Dyer in the film 'The Business'.

If you want to look 'the business' you can get these on the 80's Casual Classics site.

New film on the Beatles Apple Empire

The former Oasis front man is dropping the mic and putting on his producer's hat to recreate the Beatle's last days in swinging London for the silver screen.

His film production company; In 1 Productions is collaborating on the film with Revolution Films, which is one of the UK's most successful independents.

The still untitled film will be based on Richard DiLello's bestseller; The Longest Cocktail Party which details the chaotic rise and fall of Apple Records, which was owned by The Fab foursome. During the late 60's and early 70's DiLello was known as the "house hippy " and had a bird's eye view of the day to day adventures of the now legendary record label.

Pretty Green: Carnaby Street, LDN

On 30th July 2010 Pretty Green will open a Temporary store on Carnaby Street. The store will be selling a selection of exclusive one off Pretty Green pieces as well as the Green Label and Black Label Spring Summer 2010 collections.

Pretty Green draws its inspiration from the art, music and culture scene of the 1960’s, so Carnaby Street was the perfect street to open the temporary store, due to its rich style, musical heritage and iconic status.

2010 marks the 50th anniversary since Carnaby became the epicentre for swinging London, and continues to be synonymous with cutting edge fashion, music and youth culture.

Steve and Maher are heading down to London Town this weekend to check out the new store.

Fred Perry X Liberty

Two great British names in collaboration to create a crazy Mod look.

The two prints Mark (Paisley) and Edenham (Floral) have been used by Liberty for years.

Designers have used the patterns in numourous ways to enhance the Fred Perry garments.

Sold on both the Fred Perry and Liberty online stores.

Fred Perry for The Specials

We noticed the Specials supporting the Fred Perry label on tour in Benicassim.

Salutes to Frezza for supporting the subculture of the music industry!

Just because we like the name

Londoners buy into the Great British traditions. This time food...

The S&M cafe specialise in Bangers and Mash, nice.
They've even used some saucy descriptions for the dishes.

Take a look, take a trip, take a try. We certainly will be.

The Vespa by Piaggio, 1946.

Quadrophenia symbolised the death of the Mod culture.

But whilst in Barcelona we caught a spark of the Spaniards bringing it back.

And of course, we don't mind bringing back the culture either...

Adam of the Francis Jetty and myself with some revitalised models.

We love the Mods!

Supporting 'local hopefuls'.

Take a look at new Northampton band the Francis Jetty.

Adam, Jamie, Franco, Matt and Kyall bring their first EP to the scene.

So check it out on Myspace Music and support them on iTunes.

Benicassim Fiber FIB Festival 2010

Steve and Maher took to the roads and hit Bristol airport to kick off an epic journey.

Fiber FIB included Kasabian, The Courteeners, Peter Hook, Ray Davies, Vampire Weekend,
The Foals, Gorillaz and Prodigy, as well as many others.

But the highlight of the weekend was watching these boys, the kings of the 2-tone ska.
And WOW they could still rock a gig.

We also took a visit to Barcelona but the schedule was too hectic to look around,
Many apologies for the lack of photos.

We managed to find this clip from NME instead.

Ciao

Liam Gallagher: Pretty Green

First of all, look out for Beady Eye.
Liam has claimed that they will be bigger than Oasis.

Secondly, look at this, Pretty Green,
the clothing is stylish and the advertising speaks for itself.

We know it's not Fred Perry, the originals
but there is certainly space for some more traditional British labels.

And the Steve and Maher journey will emulate this.
